Import products from Excel or CSV
Bring your whole item file in: download the template, map columns, import in batches and fix row errors.
- 1
Create units and categories first
The importer matches unit and category names, so create Box 100, Coil 50 m and your categories before importing.
- 2
Download the template
Products → Import products → download the sample file.
- 3
Paste your data
Fill SKU, name, unit, category, prices, tax, barcode type, rack/row/position and stock settings.
- 4
Import a small batch
Try 50 rows first, fix any errors the importer reports by row number.
- 5
Import the rest
Then import in batches of a few thousand rows.
- 6
Add opening stock
Import opening stock per location separately.

| Selling price | Inclusive or exclusive of tax, matching your setting |
| Rack / row / position | Only if racks are switched on |
