RTLRight-to-left done properly
What "RTL" means at a hardware counter
Right-to-left is more than flipped text. Menus open from the right, columns read right to left, arrows point the other way, and numbers such as SKUs, bin codes and prices stay left-to-right inside the Arabic or Urdu text so they scan and read correctly.
- Screens mirror for Arabic and Urdu users
- SKUs, barcodes, bin codes stay left-to-right
- Invoice layouts can carry Arabic or Urdu labels
- Urdu uses a Nastaliq-capable font on this site

Language questions
- Can the POS run in Arabic or Urdu?
- Yes. The interface ships with translations including Arabic and Urdu, and switches to a right-to-left layout for them. Each user can pick their own language.
- Can I change the wording on screens and receipts?
- Yes. Labels on invoice and receipt layouts are free text, and the interface translations can be edited, so you can use the words your counter staff and customers use.
- Can a receipt show two languages?
- Yes, by writing the layout labels in both, for example "Total / الإجمالي". Product names print the way you entered them.
- How many interface languages are there?
- More than 30 interface translations are available for the base platform, including Arabic, Urdu, Spanish, Hindi, French, Turkish and Chinese. We confirm the exact list for your account at sign-up.
- Can one store have staff using different languages?
- Yes. The language is set per user, so one cashier can work in Urdu while the owner reads reports in English.
- Is this website available in my language?
- This website has Spanish, Arabic and Urdu versions of the home, pricing and contact pages, with more pages to follow.
- Do product names need to be translated?
- No. Product names are whatever you enter. Many stores in Dubai and Lahore keep English names (as suppliers use them) with an Arabic or Urdu interface.
- Do dates and numbers follow the language?
- Date and number formats are set in the business settings; prices keep Western digits by default, which most stores in the UAE and Pakistan prefer.
