About Hardware Store POS: a point-of-sale edition drawn up for one trade
Hardware Store POS is the hardware and building-supply edition of SmartPOS Hub. We take a proven retail and inventory platform, host it, switch on what a hardware counter needs (units, bins, trade accounts, quotations), price it per store for the USA, the UAE and Pakistan, and support it in four languages.

General POS tools were drawn for a different shop
Most point-of-sale software is designed for cafés and boutiques: a few hundred items, one unit each, card or cash, done. A hardware counter carries tens of thousands of items, sells the same screw by the box and the piece, runs tabs for contractors, prices materials lists for builders, and keeps stock in a yard as well as the store.
The big hardware-specific systems handle that, but at enterprise prices with long contracts. We built this edition for the independent store in between.
What we won't do
- Invent customer counts, ratings or awards. Reviews stay labelled "Sample" until they are real.
- Claim certifications we don't hold. Card payments run through your processor.
- Lock you in. No contract, and your data exports to CSV/Excel any time.
- Hide fees. Every price is on the pricing page.

About us, in questions
- Who is behind Hardware Store POS?
- It is an edition of SmartPOS Hub, a family of point-of-sale editions for specific trades. This one is configured, priced and documented for hardware and building-supply stores.
- Is the software built from scratch?
- No, and that is deliberate. It is a white-labelled build of a mature retail and inventory platform used in many countries, which we host, configure for hardware stores and support under our own name.
- Where is my data hosted?
- On servers we run for the service, with daily backups. See security and data.
- Why only the USA, the UAE and Pakistan?
- Those are the markets we can support properly today: prices in local currency, tax set-up, languages and payment habits. More may follow.
- Do you have customer reviews?
- Not yet: the reviews on this site are labelled samples until real customers can be quoted with their permission.
